CRICKET & MURPHY
Cricket was my first Min Pin. She would have been 17 on Dec 8. Sadly for me, she went to the Rainbow Bridge June 20,2007. Every day with her was a blessing.
Murphy Brown is Cricket's first daughter. I enjoyed showing her and very happy when she earned her Int'l Champion title. In 1997 she was photographed at a dog show in Tucson & the next year was the "cover girl" on the annual Miniature Pinscher calendar. Since then she has been referred to as my calendar girl! Murphy retired to a home in Lake Havasu City with a widower.
FOX & MY TAZMANIAN DEVIL
When making the decision to place my adults I have to make a judgement call as to whether or not I feel a particular dog would indeed adjust to another home. Taz is Cricket's daughter, she's 12 yrs old and I'm afraid she's attached to me at the hip.Taz attained the title of International Champion when she was less than a year old. When she retired my daughter asked for her so she went to ID to live with my daughter (who has one of Taz's sons. She just couldn't adjust & after a year she was still a nervous wreck. I brought her home & here she'll stay snuggled every night in my bed.Fox is my first dog from the Pro's line. Born in '95, Fox came here as a young adult & not well socialized.He is also 12. He's fine with us, but would not adjust to a new home at his age, so here he'll stay.
SUREBET'S TOUCH DOWN BROWN
Taxi came to me at 1 1/2 years of age. He was 12 in November of this year. The Surebet line was being dissolved & I was fortunate enough to get him and Snickers. He has sired some outstanding puppies Pictured with him was a beautiful little stud who went to a breeder in California. He still thinks he's pretty tough. I have to remind him that he can't stand up to the young studs around here! He is Rudy's grandfather. Chip off the ole block!!
PATTI, MELODY, SNICKERS & ALLY
Melody will live out her life here. She just would not be happy anywhere else. Ally is in Tucson with a very nice, elderly gentleman as a loving companion. Snickers also retired to Lake Havasu City with a widowed man. Patti has recently retired and would adjust to a home with an older couple just fine. If you are looking for a mature dog who has several more years of love to give, do contact me. She would be great in a home without any competition for attention.
MATILDA & SASSY
"Nizhoni" is the navajo word for beautiful and that's how I see my kids... If it weren't for the dogs shown on this page, I would not have the healthy, sound and yes, beautiful dogs & puppies that I have proudly produced and placed in homes all over the USA. Whether mine or another breeder's, I feel everyone deserves a "nizhoni" Min Pin.
After all these years we obviously have retirees. Some are still with me & some have been placed in "retirement homes". That was the hard part. I have, for the most part raised all my dogs from puppies. They are my pets first. The first year or so they are strictly house dogs & is what people find when they are able to visit, is that my dogs are "people dogs", not kennel dogs.
When they get older they do have to rotate having house time. Now many are retirement age & I had to come to the realization that the "retiree" deserve 100% housetime. They deserve to spend the rest of their days as pets in their final forever homes. Min Pins are long lived.
I feel blessed to have found that final homes for some of my children over the past few years.
Matilda & Sassy are in a wonderful home in Tucson, together. They are happy indeed and from what I understand they've pretty well taken over the house.
