SO YOU WANT TO BE OWNED BY A MIN PIN?
I want my puppies in "forever" homes. I have no doubt that this was the inner prayer of every Miniature Pinscher that ended up in Rescue. Sometimes there's a good explanation why one is there, more often there's not.
I would encourage anyone looking for a Min Pin to consider checking out your regional or national Min Pin rescue groups first. YOUR Min Pin may be waiting for you right now! Or how about rescuing a Min Pin AND get a puppy too? Min Pins love the company of each other! I have put the link for Rescue groups at the bottom of this page. Do check it out.
If you're not familiar with Min Pins do your research before making the decision. Read the information I have on this website.
All puppies are sold with a 3 year Health Guarantee,Ltd Registration and a spay/neuter agreement, first shots,worming,tail & dew claws.

*that your female's reproductive system makes her vulnerable to serious health problems that can shorten her lifespan?
* that your male's reproductive system causes hormonal surges that can drive him to ignore your commands, to lift his leg on your belongings, to escape from your yard, to pick a fight with other male dogs, and/or to be attacked by other male dogs? I do NOT sell puppies with ears cropped and will caution you that any "breeder" who offers an 6-8 week old baby with ears cropped should be questioned.In fact, I suggest you mark them off your list.
A breeder who will sell a puppy to just anyone, with full registration, no questions asked except "how do you want to pay" should also be suspect. These "breeders" probably sell puppies to pet shops too and we all know what that suggests. (If you don't know, check out this website: http://www.nopuppymills.com) Please be careful in your search and don't support pet shops that sell puppies and contribute to the puppy mills! I, personally will not buy anything from a pet shop that sells puppies. I was in a Phoenix mall a few years back and was drawn to "that doggy in the window". I don't know why I torture myself. There was a 5 mo old Min Pin. which means he'd been there for a good 3 months. He was "On Sale" for $1600!! It broke my heart to look at him . I don't go to pet shops that sell puppies anymore. I refuse to support them....... I take great effort to produce nice, healthy puppies. I believe everyone who has a MinPin deserves this. Unless you are an established breeder and can show me that you are breeding responsibly I will NOT sell a puppy with full AKC priviledges.
I accept deposits on upcoming litters to approved homes. Most puppies are spoken for before they are born and frequently do not get as far as my website.
I accept checks, PayPal or CC over the phone for deposits.

FIVE HANDSOME BOYS

Rain had a litter of 5 March 11. Only 1 pretty boy.
Stormy had 2 sets of twin boys on March 6! Yes she has 1 red stag, 1 clear and 2 black/rust. The 2 reds are going to one of my previous Min Pin homes in Phoenix.
You will see that one of the black boys is quite small. They're all doing great and ready for their special homes. If you think it is your home, please contact me & we can discuss whether a Nizhoni Min Pin is for you. Committing to a new puppy is a serious decision and a commitment for the life of this puppy. Please think it thru. I want you and my puppy to be happy for years to come..........
(I love to here from my puppy people) Here's a note from the parents of 2 of our winter babies sent shortly after they got them. (Don't you love the names!)
"We had our first Dr. visit today and Otis and Phoebe got excellent's all around! The Dr. was very impressed with how beautiful they were and socialized. Said he doesn't see many reds always a gazillion black and tans. I think they stole his heart...as they do anyone that meet them! Thanks again for doing such a beatutiful job in raising them and breeding such beautiful pups! We were blessed to find you...we'll keep you posted! Jodie and Gordon Mitchell.
And last week: "Hi Alice, Well the babies are done with all their shots and will be in obedience class probably in a couple of weeks...they are such a joy for us. They keep us laughing and are a great diversion in our busy lives! They makes us take time out for love and attention and I love that! They are great travellers...we go to our mountain cabin every other weekend although they are still a bit cold up there...they absolutely LOVE our sun here in Havasu, we have a little pool and otis loves to swim and get sticks.. Phoebe is our little protector and barker at strangers. We should be getting them fixed in another month or so...Otis is really starting to feel his oats! Phoebe is clueless! As you can see Otis has an upright ear and down ear which fits his personality perfectly, we have chosen not to crop although the vet told us we could tape the one ear down and maybe it might stay...we're ok with however God intended him to be...House breaking is going better and they are completely sleeping through the night and crate trained which is so nice to know they are safe....we'll keep you posted on their progress from time to time. Hope all is well with you and that you are getting a bit of a break from the pups!" Gordon and Jodie Mitchell Puppies are sold on LTD AKC & a spay/neuter agreement is required. We will be at the following dog shows within the next 30 days. If you live in the area & would like to meet me please come. The name of our booth is YOUR DOG WORLD. I generally have a couple of my kids at the booth! If you're getting one of my babies I would be glad to bring it to one of the shows that we're attending.

Albuquerque May 9-11 A NOTE about colors: 17 years ago I got my first Min Pin, Cricket. She was a black/rust. I didn't know there were other colors. I was familiar with Dobe's. The www was not part of our lives yet. After getting involved with this great little breed I did learn ALOT...including all the colors. As time went by I have ended up with just that...pretty much all the colors. The very best part is that color doesn't influence that Min Pin personality. It is not color blind. I urge you not to be color blind either. If it's a Min Pin that you want, then decide on the sex...but try not to lock yourself into a color...I find them all beautiful!!

OUR BABIES IN THEIR NEW HOMES
Here are just 4 pictures of 4 babies that have gone to their forever homes in the last few months.JD (John Deere) is living in Maricopa, AZ with Venessa,Laura & Tigger who's a 4 yr old Min Pin. She needed someone to boss. Male Min Pins take on that role very well...only from female Min Pins! Remi & Roscoe live in Tucson.Remi moved there about a year 1/2 ago. Reinhart's decided she too needed a playmate & Roscoe would round out the family just fine! "We wanted to send you some pictures to show you how good Rosco and Remi are doing. Rosco has settled in just fine. As you can see from the pictures both dogs are getting along really well. Thanks again for such a beautiful dog Rosco." Holly, Jose, Natalie, Remi and Rosco Samson live close by in Prescott Valley. His Dad just retired from a long career with K-Mart and Samson and David are taking care of the homefront together. "Hi Alice. Sorry it’s been forever getting back to you. Wanted to share some photos of Samson with you. He is doing well. Loves to lay in the sun and on our laps. He is just about potty trained, and is right at home here at the Wilson household. He and Rocky the cat are getting along well. The cat will take a lot of Samson’s teasing/playing and then he will swipe at Samson and that’s the end of that! Still have not had him neutered yet, the vet says it is still too soon. But on the next visit next week when he gets his 4th set of puppy shots we will definitely ask again. He is 18 weeks now, a little over 4 months. We have been going to a puppy kindergarten class at Petsmart and that is going well also. I’ll try and send you more pictures soon. A TOY or TEACUP MIN PIN?
Absolutely not! To purposely breed for undersized (or oversized) dogs within a breed that has a set standard is irresponsible. If that's what you're seeking (a toy or teacup)then choose a breed where this term is acceptable, like a poodle. The Min Pin is a Toy breed period. There are times that any breeder will get a puppy that grows to be a little under or over the standard, which for Min Pins is 10" - 12.5"T. It has to do with the genes.
Choose a breeder whose goal is to breed within the standard. You deserve that! Again, there is no such thing as a Toy Min Pin OR a Teacup Min Pin. however, as I said, occasionally a puppy is born that will be under the standard size. I have had them over the years. Pictured here is one. This is Squirt & Mamie. Squirt is actually a week older. At 10 mos she is 8.5"T and weighs 3.5 lbs. Mamie is 12"T. Squirt's definitely a cutie but she was not a runt nor is she a "Toy or Teacup" Min Pin. Just my little Squirt....fortunately she is healthy, but that's not always the case with tiny ones .I TRY TO RESPOND TO EMAILS PROMPTLY. It also contains needed info for you regarding the purchase of one of my puppies. I will email it to you.
