SO YOU WANT TO BE OWNED BY A MIN PIN?
I want my puppies in "forever" homes. This is what every Min Pin (every pet) deserves. Those that end up in Rescue or the shelter, expected this. Sometimes there's a good explanation why one is there, frequently, there's not.
I would encourage anyone looking for a Min Pin (or any animal) to consider checking out your regional or national Min Pin rescue groups first. YOUR Min Pin may be waiting for you right now! Or how about rescuing a Min Pin AND get a puppy too? Min Pins love the company of each other! I have put the link for Rescue groups at the bottom of this page. Do check it out.
If you're not familiar with Min Pins do your research before making the decision.

All puppies are sold with a 3 year Health Guarantee, Ltd Registration and a spay/neuter agreement, first shots,worming,tail & dew claws.

A 3 year Health Guarantee & lifetime return policy is provided on all of my pups. We do not sell pups or dogs to brokers or commercial breeders.  No exceptions.
Our primary focus for breeding dogs is to continually improve our bloodlines. I enjoy showing my dogs but cannot possibly keep them all. So to provide outstanding puppies for families who want the opportunity to own and share their lives with an exceptional family member is rewarding. I do NOT sell puppies with ears cropped and will caution you that any "breeder" who offers an 6-8 week old baby with ears cropped should be questioned.In fact, I suggest you mark them off your list.  
A breeder who will sell a puppy to just anyone,  with full registration, no questions asked except "how do you want to pay" should also be suspect.  These "breeders" probably sell puppies to pet shops too and we all know what that suggests. (If you don't know, check out this website: http://www.nopuppymills.com)   Please be careful in your search and don't support pet shops that sell puppies and contribute to the puppy mills!  I, personally will not buy anything from a pet shop that sells puppies.  I was in a Phoenix  mall a few years back and was drawn to "that doggy in the window". I don't know why I torture myself.  There was a 5 mo old Min Pin. which means he'd been there for a good 3 months. He was "On Sale" for $1600!! It broke my heart to look at him . I don'tgo to pet shops that sell puppies anymore. I refuse to support them.......

I take great effort to produce nice, healthy puppies. I believe everyone who has a MinPin deserves this. Unless you are an established breeder and can show me that you are breeding responsibly I will NOT sell a puppy with full AKC priviledges.
I accept deposits on upcoming litters to approved homes.  Most puppies are spoken for before they are born and frequently do not get as far as my website.Right now is an exception because we had littersborn within a short time of each other.
I accept checks, PayPal or CC over the phone for deposits.

The gal with the yellow collar is a little bigger.We're calling her Sheila. The littler girl is Sarah. They actually have very different builds as you can see. Both are typical Min Pin puppies and full of the devil...

Puppies come with a 3 year Health guarantee, tail & dew claws removed. Buyer will agree to spay/neuter puppy & will get a Pedigree & LTD AKC Registration upon proof of spay/neuter.

SHIPPING: I have never encountered a serious problem shipping a puppy As of 2008 most of the airlines are charging about the same for shipping of 8 week old puppies, bring’g the cost to approx $275. Exception is Delta which is $50 more . 2 pups can be sent in the same kennel which means additional cost is for the Health Certificate for the 2nd puppy ($25) & possibly an add’l $25 for the airline for add'l weight for some of the airlines. Total $50 for 2nd puppy.

A TOY or TEACUP MIN PIN?
Absolutely not! To purposely breed for undersized (or oversized) dogs within a breed that has a set standard is irresponsible.If that's what you're seeking (a toy or teacup)then choose a breed where this term is acceptable, like a poodle. The Min Pin is in the AKC Toy Group. When it was originally brought to the US & accepted by AKC it was in the Terrier Group. Obviously there is alot of terrier in this feisty little dog.
There are times that any breeder will get a puppy that grows to be a little under or over the standard, which for Min Pins is 10" - 12.5" at the shoulder. A dog's genes influences it's size. Characteristics including size & color can come from previous generations & not necessarily directly from the parents. So don't always look to the parends to tell you how big or small your dog will be. Could take after great, great Grandpa on Mom or Dad's side .........just like us humans.
Again, there is no such thing as a toy Min Pin OR a teacup Min Pin. I have seen both these terms used as advertising "hooks". . however, as I said, occasionally a puppy is born that will be under the standard size. I have had them over the years. Pictured here is one. This is Squirt & Mamie. Squirt is actually a week older. At 10 mos she was 8.5"T and weighed 3.5 lbs. Mamie is 12"T. Squirt's definitely a cutie but she was not a runt nor was she a "Toy or Teacup" Min Pin. Just my little Squirt....not unusual for an undersized dog, Squirt suffered a stroke when she was 3 and we lost her. So be cautious about asking for "the runt" or the smallest puppy in a litter.
I occasionally have seen some very strange colors advertised on the net & places like Craig's list as purebred. The one that REALLY gets to me is a Harlequin Min Pin. DO NOT BE DECEIVED! THERE IS NO SUCH COLOR! At least not today. There are so called breeders out there that are actually claiming that they have harlequin Min Pins & offering puppies. They have photos and the whole 9 yards.......they are not recognized by AKC or the MPCA. Don't believe it. I believe there were harlequin's in Germany many, many years ago. They are now extinct. What you're seeing today is a cross of a Min Pin with usually a Rat Terrier. People LIE!! P>If you have any questions, feel free to write me. I TRY TO RESPOND TO EMAILS PROMPTLY.
