The Brazilian Fila, the World's Finest Naturally Protective Dog
Have you ever wanted the perfect dog. Good looking, tough, heavy boned and muscular, naturally protective and absolutely faithful to you and you alone. Then get a Fila. The Fila is sometimes called a Brazilian Mastiff or "Old World Mastiff". It truly is "The Finest Naturally Protective Companion Dog in the World". Fila's need no training whatsoever to protect, and have a temperament "UNLIKE ANY OTHER BREED". They have a natural "DISTRUST OR AVERSION" to strangers. This special temperament is called "OJERIZA TEMPERAMENT" and no other dog has it. The Fila pronounced (Fee-la) has been bred in Brazil for over 400 years, and so well thought of the Brazilian Goverment has given it the title "THE NATIONAL DOG OF BRAZIL”. Fila's are a tough working breed used in Brazil to herd and protect cattle, hunt jaguar, wild boar, and for "PERSONAL AND ESTATE PROTECTION". They are active intelligent and lighting fast dogs.
Gabriel at 215 pounds
GABRIAL, Stud Dog at 215 pounds
Gabriel, making a face at the front of our home the morning after a RARE TENNESSEE BLIZZARD. Gabriel weighs 215 pounds and you can still see his ribs. He is what we look for in a Fila and is the only dog we use for breeding. He has size, speed and a sound and stable temperment. He's not vicious and does not look for trouble or confrontations, he will give warnings, but at the same time will not back down. He would gladly lay down his life for us. Many of his pups have exceeded his weight.

Dred at 222 pounds
DRED, out of Gabriel and Bianca at 222 Pounds (Vet Weighed)
Dred is the largest Fila I know of. He was sold at 3 years to a man in North Carolina after he bought a puppy from us. He remarked after taking a week to bond with Dred "I hope no one tries to enter my house without knocking". Dred is powerful dog with amazing jaw strenght, he can crush roundsteak bones like they were candy.

THE FILA IN A NUTSHELL
GABRIEL PICTURED ABOVE: He is the sire of all SHOO-ITS MOUNTAIN PUPS. Ever see a finer Fila.A Fila is a Large Heavy Boned Muscular dog that is extremely intelligent and lighting fast. It is so well thought of the Nation of Brazil has taken it for its "NATIONAL DOG". It has a temperament unlike any other breed. This Special Temperament even has a name, it's called "OJERIZA", and no other dog has it. A Fila does not have to be sent off to military school in order to learn how to protect its loved ones. Owning a Fila is like having a built in burglar alarm and automatic motion detector all incorporated in one, on each window, door, gate, or any type entrance to you home, yard or car. It’s like having a built in Police Department right in your home. Strangers can not make friends with it, and it will not allow anyone to hurt you, or it goes off. It will not be bribed, distracted, or change sides, and is also portable for use in the house, walking the streets, in the yard, in your vehicle and anywhere you care to go. A Fila is like having John Wayne, Rocky, Rambo, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, along with The Terminator all living in your home, and it will never turn on you, growl at you, or snarl at you or even look at you funny. ALL THAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU IS LOVE AND GOOD FOOD.
