The Retired Ladies of Bastion

A/C Ch. Baastion's Hellcat from Hytop
Essie is a typey girl with exceptional motherhood abilities. She has had two litters of exceptional quality. After having 7 of her children achieve championships in one year... she was awarded Dam of the Year by the ABA. She is now retired and spayed using her energy to keep my bed from moving.

A/C Int'l Ch. Bastion's Ivystone Olympia
Brava went High in Trail and won an Award of Merit in Dallas-Ft Worth at our regional speciality. A lady of many talents. She has had one litter, of which all have passed Penn-Hip, all are Canadian and American Champions. For a litter of four - this is a wonderful record. She is shown here winning her International Championship.

A/C Ch. Ivystone Bastn Mdme Butterfly.
Emma is a lovely red brindle who has an impeccable side gait, lots of working ability and devotion to her family. She cleared our standard health clearences and has produced one litter of lovely puppies out of Ch. Leatherneck's Spanky McFarland. Out of this litter she has a multiple sweepstakes winner and a group placer in puppy group.. all before 9 months of age. This litter also produced FIVE exceptional brindle champion offspring, one of which was the number two bitch in the breed in 2002.

A/C Ch. Waters She's a Bastion Babe
Known as Babe.... This typey compact girl is a lovely example of the breed and is a delightful house dog. She is the mother of two litters. The last litter was to Ted ( see working dog page) and produced a litter full of outstanding show dogs. One of which has gone BIS at the age of 20 months in the United States. Regretfully Babe had to be spayed and we will not have the opportunity to repeat this breeding.

A/C Ch. Bastion Ivystone Miss Scarlett
Also a mother of two litters Scarlett has produced many many wonderful dogs. in her first litter we have Rocky (A/C Ch. Bastion's Rockets Red Glare) who can be seen on "My Stinky Boys" page. In Scarlett's second litter which is a co-bred litter with Jim and Debbie McFarland we produced not only speciality winning males (Boomer, seen on home page) ) but many outstanding ladies. The three redheads are Simone - A/C Ch. Bastion's Winning Hand (Coggin) , Bella - A/C Ch. Hoof n Paws Tboldt Bellagio (Boldt and McFarland) and Pumpkin - A/C Ch. Bastion's Odds on Favorite ( Spohr) All three girls are titled in both countries (U.S. and Canada). Jean Evans and Sherry Boldt co-own the one fawn show girl - Ch. Hoof N Paws TBoldt Mirage. Scarlett will reside here with us for the rest of her life and hopefully some day we will have a red granddaughter to carry on her wonderful qualities.
