Okay, this is the first time since I started my newsletter in 2003 that I have been late with it. Since it is so late, I am combing both November and December.

After the concerns about the fires in September and October I moved into boot camp—and am happy to say I survived both the fires and the boot camp--which was a success--both the dogs and I survived!

In December I am scheduled to give a class on animal disaster preparedness via a teleseminar with Patricia Reszetylo. If you would like to participate sign up via the link below in the events section.

Patricia is also doing a course with Linda Tellington-Jones (founder of the T-Touch program) and the sign up is below as well…the good news is that both courses are being offered to you at no charge.

Next year is already gearing up. I’ve renewed my passport for a trip to Spain where I’ll be an instructor for a course teaching people how to train and will be attending several different events. If you know someone who is looking for a speaker--I am booking 2008-2009 now.

During this time of year I begin my writing projects and hunker down with those. I have some interesting projects I hope to complete in the next six months.

2. Discussion for the Month

I’ve been receiving questions about animal careers and as I morph arkanimals.com and my business into a new direction you’ll be glad to know that you will find more content about careers with animals and some of the other topics I seem to have drifted away from temporarily.

I decided to put the Animal Career Secrets on hold and back onto my main website of arkanimals.com—hate making more work for myself but I was attempting to follow the requests of a course I am in.

Once again I have to configure the website so that it is easier to navigate. Some of you have said it is too overwhelming—let me just say it is for me too because it has hundreds of pages _without_ the blog.

If you are interested in an animal career the first thing to do is to begin reading my series, Unusual Animal Careers. You can reach the index directly at http://www.arkanimals.com/ark/uac_index.html

You’ll find a bunch of direction in the series and a few specialty areas of careers already covered. I have some new content to share with you so look for it on a regular basis again.

Also, we will be moving the blog to the main index page for easier access. Most of the new content will now be posted on the blog instead of on the tradition site—probably shortly before the New Year.

You’ll begin to see those questions being answered. Each time there is an update you will be notified and have the option of clicking directly in from the email link. The RSS subscription directions will be up and running soon if you prefer to use a reader…don’t panic if you don’t understand—I’ll have it all spelled out for you if you want to try that option.

3. Critter Chronicles

People always ask about different pet professionals and other programs. The best thing to do is explore and find out what works the best for you. I know I took T-Touch course from a practitioner and wasn’t too impressed but I know others who are thrilled with the methods.

One of my colleagues, who is a world famous animal communicator, said that the difference is Linda herself. So, this month you’ll have a rare opportunity to join Linda Tellington Jones the founder of T-Touch on a teleseminar at no charge—my compliments.

I am not conducting the course but thought you would like it. The class will be geared to horse owners but it should be great.
